Your Open Range beef share is processed specifically for your family.
After purchasing your beef share, you'll receive our Open Range Beef Processing Cut Sheet to select your preferred cuts, steak thickness, package sizes and specialty items.
¼ Beef
Our quarter-beef share uses our Open Range Standard Cut, designed to give your family a balanced freezer of steaks, roasts and ground beef. You'll be able to select key preferences including steak thickness and packaging.
½ Beef
Half-beef customers receive custom processing options and can choose how they would like many of their steaks, roasts, ground beef and specialty cuts prepared.
Whole Beef
Whole-beef customers receive our full custom processing option, giving you the greatest flexibility over how your animal is cut and packaged.
Final packaged weight and individual cuts vary by animal. Some processing selections may affect the quantity and availability of other cuts.

How We Ship From Our Ranch to Your Door
Fresh Eggs, Shipped Cold
Our pasture-raised eggs are carefully packed and shipped in insulated packaging to arrive fresh. We ship Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays. Eggs typically arrive within 2–4 business days of shipment.
Beef, Frozen and Packed for Your Freezer
Herd share beef ships once the entire steer is sold and reserved. We'll reach out to coordinate processing, packaging, and delivery timing.
All orders ship directly from our Texas ranch. We pack every order with care.
Yes. Open Range ships pasture-raised eggs and beef directly to families across the country.
We ship eggs Monday through Wednesday in insulated packaging. If your order arrives damaged or compromised, contact us and we'll make it right.
Beef herd shares ship once the entire steer has been sold. When your animal is fully reserved, we'll contact you to coordinate timing, packaging preferences, and delivery.
